There are many motorcyclists that prefer traveling sticking to two wheels when it comes to enjoying a holiday and discovering new places. The freedom and flexibility a motorcycle can provide is unbeatable. But, not very many bikers have the courage to plan a trip around the world on their bikes, yet alone do something like this. Kane Avellano, a 23-year-old biker from Britain decided that this challenge was just right for him and for his Triumph Motorcycle. He travelled 32,000 miles in 8 months, setting a new record for the Guinness World Record book.
Jack Lilley Triumph, dealers in Ashford in Middlesex, and Romford in Essex, know how special Triumph motorcycles are, a sturdy and reliable bike that can easily become the travel companion you always dreamed of. The story of Kane and how he managed to conquer the world on his Triumph Bonneville is proof that these bikes deserve all the attention they can get. The young biker had no problem unrolling his trip over six continents and reaching no less than 35 countries while riding his trusty Triumph. Besides being comfortable and built to last, regardless of the traveling conditions, this bike also provides sufficient space for supplies that may be needed during such an adventure.
Guinness verified its last motorcycle circumnavigation 14 years ago, not having the chance to enjoy such a record until present days. As Kane stated himself, it was a real pleasure for him to establish a new world record with his Triumph. He shared a lot of memories with the bike, so it was more than obvious for him that he couldn’t pick another bike for this trip around the world, even though a Triumph Bonneville is not seen as a conventional adventure bike. This is just more evidence that a bike like this exceeded its expectations and delivered far more than it was initially expected from it. Kane had a great time riding his bike and seeing the world, while also managing to raise £2,200 for UNICEF during his amazing and courageous expedition. Still, he knew that things can be unpredictable when starting such a long journey. What did he go through? He had to endure torrential rains during the monsoon season in India, scorching heat in the Australian desert, and severe storms during his visit in South America. In spite of all these challenges, both Kane and his Triumph Bonneville made it, as he returned home with an experience and set of memories he will cherish forever.
You don’t have to go around the world to see what this motorcycle can offer because every single trip you will take on any of the Triumph range will be unforgettable in many ways.
