The world’s longest-running adventure. The Triumph Tiger goes back 80 years, that’s even longer than the iconic Bonneville. It’s an adventure story richer and older than any other brand. Since the 1930s, the Tiger has been synonymous with genuine dual purpose off-road and on-road touring. Long before we were sporting peaked helmets, waterproof panniers and checking our GPS, Tigers were being used for the same sort of trips and tackling the same harsh terrain as the modern bikes do today. It really is the original ‘adventure bike’ and has an enviable lineage.
Examples of the Tiger throughout the ages:
- Tiger 70, 80 & 90
- Tiger T100
- Tiger T110
- Tiger TR7T / TR65T Trail
- Tiger 900 & 955i
- Tiger 1050 Sport
- Tiger 800
- Tiger Explorer 1200
The Triumph Tiger is a truly iconic motorcycle with sought after features. The Tiger family has just introduced 2 new models. Available in two flavours – the off-road biased ‘XC’ and the road-orientated ‘XR’ – the new Tiger 1200s and Tiger 800s feature the highest ever level of state-of-the-art technology on a Tiger with full-colour TFT instruments, up to six riding modes (including Off-Road Pro on the XCs), all-LED lighting, illuminated switchgear and adjustable windscreens.
Both 1200 and 800 ranges also benefit from a significant engine upgrade for a more responsive Triple engine plus a host of chassis updates for enhanced rider ergonomics, increased capability and all-day comfort.
